Assembly & Installation

Due to its size and dual‐mode system, the GDI-8226-01 requires a flat, level base (concrete pad or properly reinforced deck). Because it includes both a traditional stove and full spectrum IR panels, a licensed electrician must hardwire the heater to 240 V (and manage any 120 V circuits for controls). While the modular panel design allows for DIY assembly by a team of 2-3 adults, freight delivery (curbside, multiple boxes) and professional electrical connection are strongly recommended.
