About Sauna Den

Sauna Den follows a professional return policy based on manufacturer requirements and freight shipping standards. Because saunas are large wellness appliances shipped by freight, returns are limited and must comply with warranty procedures.


Return Eligibility

Returns are only accepted under the following circumstances:

  • The product arrives damaged due to freight carrier handling

  • The product has a manufacturer-confirmed defect

  • The return is approved by the manufacturer and Sauna Den with an RMA (Return Authorization)


Repair Before Return Policy (Important)

Most issues are resolved under manufacturer warranty and do not require a full return.

  • Manufacturers provide replacement parts for minor freight damage

  • Cosmetic or panel damage is handled via part replacement

  • Electrical or heater issues are handled by component replacement

  • Full replacements or returns are only approved when a unit cannot be repaired

Returns are not permitted for:

  • Wrong size ordered

  • Customer remorse or “changed my mind”

  • Failure to read product description/specs

  • Refused deliveries without authorization

  • Installed, used, altered, modified, or damaged products due to misuse

  • Returns without original packaging


Return Requirements

All approved returns must meet the following:

  • RMA approval from Sauna Den before shipping back

  • Product must be unused and uninstalled

  • Must be returned in original packaging

  • Return request must be made within 30 days of delivery

  • Customer must follow all freight return instructions


Return Fees

The following fees apply to all approved returns:

  • 20% manufacturer restocking fee

  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable

  • Refunds issued after manufacturer inspection and approval


Freight Damage Policy

All freight shipments must be inspected at delivery.

Customer responsibility at delivery:

  • Inspect packaging and contents before signing

  • Note any damage on the delivery receipt

  • Take clear photos of damage and packaging

  • Keep all packaging materials

  • Report damage within 48 hours to tim@saunaden.com

Failure to follow freight policy may result in a denied claim.


Do Not Refuse Delivery

Refusing delivery without authorization is considered unauthorized return and will result in:

  • Return freight charges

  • 20% restocking fee

  • Delayed resolution

Accept the delivery, note any damage, and contact us.


Order Cancellations

  • Orders may be canceled before shipment at no cost

  • Orders cannot be canceled after shipment

  • Refusing delivery is treated as a return (fees apply)


Warranty Support

All saunas include a manufacturer warranty. Coverage varies by model and may include:

  • Heating elements

  • Electronic components

  • Control panels

  • Limited wood structure coverage

Warranty does not cover misuse, modifications, improper assembly, electrical setup, or normal wear.

Sauna Den will assist with warranty claims on your behalf.


Unauthorized Chargebacks

Unauthorized payment chargebacks are considered fraudulent. Sauna Den documents all orders, shipping confirmations, delivery photos, and email communication and will dispute invalid claims with full legal documentation.


How to Request a Return, Damage Claim, or Warranty Support

Email tim@saunaden.com with:

  • Order number

  • Photos of product and packaging

  • Description of issue

  • Preferred resolution (replacement parts, assistance, claim review)


Policy Updates

Sauna Den reserves the right to update this policy at any time to comply with manufacturer rules, freight carrier requirements, or business regulations.
